Important Notice: As per the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, crackers may only be burst between 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM on Diwali and other festivals. Please comply with all local laws and regulations.

Before You Start

👁️
Eye Protection

Always wear safety goggles when lighting crackers. Never look directly at fireworks in flight.

🧤
Use Agarbatti

Light crackers using a long incense stick (agarbatti), not a matchstick held close to the fuse.

👕
Wear Cotton Clothes

Always wear cotton clothing while bursting crackers. Avoid synthetic fabrics as they catch fire easily.

💧
Keep Water Ready

Keep a bucket of water and a fire extinguisher nearby before you start. Never skip this step.

🏠
Choose Open Area

Burst crackers only in open spaces, away from buildings, vehicles, dry grass, and trees.

📦
Check Expiry

Use only BIS-marked, licensed crackers. Check for damage or moisture. Never use expired or suspicious crackers.

During Bursting

🚸
Supervise Children

Never allow children under 10 to handle crackers. Children under 16 must have adult supervision at all times.

↔️
Keep Distance

After lighting, move away quickly. Maintain a safe distance of at least 5–10 metres from the burst zone.

🚫
One at a Time

Light only one cracker at a time. Never hold a lit cracker in your hand.

🐶
Protect Pets

Keep pets indoors. The loud sounds and smoke from crackers are extremely stressful and harmful for animals.

🌬️
Face Wind Correctly

Stand so that the wind blows away from you. Never stand downwind of burning crackers.
